The Ministry of Brewing was nearing completion of the restoration of its home in a historic Catholic church when it decided it needed marketing assistance to ensure a successful launch and to build a loyal following in Baltimore, MD. The brewery required creation and implementation of a full marketing plan for the upcoming opening.
To build up a community of followers, a communication plan was implemented including launching the WordPress website, creating and managing an email list of over 1200 recipients, setting up, growing, and managing social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn, and writing and distribution of press releases. Answering questions from the public and media was also a top priority.
As part of the 1st year marketing plan, a loyalty program and several ongoing events were recommended to foster the connection between the brewery and the surrounding neighborhoods.
More tangible items were needed prior to opening as well, such as door signage, event and festival signage, and branded merchandise
